International Fellows Program

The mission of the International Fellows Program is to develop in students a deep understanding of global connections through guided academic programming, professional networking and field experiences.

ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM

Education: building the fundamental knowledge and awareness of the power and complexities of cultural diversity and the international environment.

Empowerment: nurturing connections between students who share a passion for international education and developing professional networks with advanced Fellows, alumni, and mentors who accomplishments provide role models for international Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

Engagement: encouraging deeper exploration of opportunities to positively influence change in international contexts and developing a sense of efficacy in leading this change.

GOALS OF THE PROGRAM

Students who participate in the program will:

  • gain a greater understanding of the changing world and their ability to engage with and influence that change;
  • engage in building international awareness and understanding among others in their local, regional and national communities;
  • build networks with cohort peers, advisors, alumni and mentors to support growth in understanding, provide positive role models, and facilitate cohort projects that will Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ community and beyond.
